Application
(1) It belongs to disinfection and antiseptics. Benzalkonium chloride dissociates into cationic active groups in aqueous solution, which has the functions of cleaning and sterilizing. It is widely used in sterilization, disinfection, antiseptic, emulsification, descaling, solubilization, etc. It is also a leveling agent for cationic dyeing acrylic fiber.
(2) Strong and rapid bactericidal effect, low toxicity, little irritation to the skin and mucous membrane. It is mainly used in the disinfection of skin, wounds, mucous membranes and surgical instruments; it is also used as a bacteriostatic agent in liquid preparations.
